Sunday, May 24, 2009 Service Project Success Approximately 90 league families participated
Service is a major component of the league's core values. During the past years, league families have for the most part donated hundreds and hundreds of food boxes that were later distributed to various homes and shelters. For this year, our league decided to spend some time to meet with friends residing in two different orphanages.
League families turned up bright and early on Sunday and subsequently split into two groups - one heading to teh Rumah Amal Limpahan in Puchong and the other headed to the Ti-Ratana home Desa Petaling. All in all, adults and children had a valuable time interacting with the children and friends at both homes. Families raised a considerable sum of funds that will be allocated to these homes.
Stay tuned for more news and photos from this day.
P.s. Thanks to Lyn, our senior division head, who spearheaded this year's Service Project with the help of the three other divison heads. Bravo!

Sunday, May 17, 2009 Regular Season Nears End Divisional leaders bunched up at the top! With only a few make-up matches to be played next Saturday, a quick peek at divisional standings reveal an interesting situation - many of the leaders are bunched up at the top.
Having completed their regular season, team Archers topped team Wizards in Junior Division only on goal difference.
In the Major Division, Team Sharks took the crown with a few weeks to spare.
The Senior Divisions currently see Hurricanes and Blizzards tied at the top on points. Although with a game still to play, team Hurricanes should have no problem holding on to their top post due to their superior goal difference over the Blizzards.
The top two positions in the Premier Division will be decided next Saturday in what should be an interesting duel between Casablanca and Riviera. Now both tied on points, it will be a winner take all when they meet.
For teams at the bottom end - Kings, Wolves, Cyclones, and Fiore don't worry - we love you all the more for giving your best despite the it all. Plus there is still have the One-Day Tournament in a few weeks time.
